Company Profile

C.P.M. Labs was formed in 1982 in response to local needs for a full service calibration lab and ultra-precision measuring. We are a sole proprietorship located in Rancho Cordova, California. Being centrally located in the Sacramento Valley allows efficient response to local as well as Western Region calibration and precision measurement needs.

Our philosophy and mission is to provide accurate, traceable service that is affordable. Assuring the quality of measuring instruments, on time and on budget is of prime importance to us and we operate along the guidelines of giving our customers confidence in their gages at a fair price.

Calibrations are performed in our environmentally controlled lab as well as at our customer’s facility when required. Operations and procedures are traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and are conducted in conformance to ISO 10012-1. We are currently working toward the goal of lab certification. All of our Primary and Secondary Standards are calibrated by various Primary Standards Laboratories throughout the USA or by the manufacturer of the equipment. Our Tertiary or Working Standards are calibrated in-house using the Secondary Standards. Traceability to NIST is maintained throughout all processes.

We offer a large range of calibration services, precision measurements and other specialties. First Article Inspection including geometric and form measurement (circularity, concentricity, runout, etc.) are also available at the lab. Customer audits are welcomed and have helped us refine our approach to present and future business practices in meeting your needs.
